He serves on the board of ₿trust, a nonprofit initiative originally launched by Jack Dorsey and Jay-Z to support Bitcoin developers in the Global South, with a particular focus on Africa. Before joining Fedi, Obi was the CEO and co-founder of Coinfloor, one of the United Kingdom’s first Bitcoin-only exchanges, which he led for nearly eight years before its acquisition in 2021.
