About

Zoe Cormier is an author and journalist who has covered the science, history and importance of psychedelic drugs for over a dozen years since the publication of her first book Sex, Drugs & Rock n’ Roll: The Science of Hedonism and the Hedonism of Science, a scientific celebration of the evolutionary importance of these supposedly “sinful” or “primitive” pursuits. Her writing on psychedelics and other drugs has appeared in Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Scientific American, Nature New Scientist, Wired, Vice, and the BBC. She is the only writer in the world who can say “Rolling Stone paid me to take acid” – and the only person who has posed naked for New Scientist.
